USI Men’s Track & Field Earns Personal Bests at Two Weekend Meets
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Men's Track & Field concluded a busy weekend where the Screaming Eagles took on two meets including the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky, and the IUPUI Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana. Three different Eagles earned personal bests in the 3,000 meters at the IUPUI Invitational. Freshman Cole Hess (Cannelton, Indiana) took home fifth place with a time of eight minutes and 43.90 seconds. Behind Hess were freshman Tyler Zimmerman (Evansville, Indiana) and senior Draven Thompson (Huntertown, Indiana) who finished seventh and ninth, respectively.
