Athletes Break School Records and Personal Bests at Athletics Meet

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Two school records and numerous personal bests were met this weekend at the Illini Challenge, held at the University of Illinois. Emily Nichols broke her own school record in the 60 meters, running 7.73 in the preliminary heat. She ended up finishing seventh in the event. James Baker achieved a school record in the pole vault on the men's side. He registered a height of 4.45 to better his own school mark in the event.
