Ferreira named United East Player of the Week

LATHAM, N.Y. – After continuing his torrid scoring pace, Marquis Ferreira was rewarded by being named the United East Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This marks the first time Ferreira earned the weekly conference award and he joins teammate Andre Ballard as the second Nittany Lion to earn the distinction this season. Ferreira averaged 24.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 0.5 blocks per game to help the Nittany Lions go 1-1 this past week.
