Centre Women’s Swimming & Diving Team Makes Waves with Fifth SAA Award Sweep

By: Noah Hughes, Assistant Athletic Director for Communications ATLANTA - The Centre swimming & diving's women's team continued to impress as this week they swept the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Athlete of the Week honors for the fifth time this season. Swimmer Callie West and diver Haley Rice picked up the final league honors of the season. West won the 50 freestyle with a seasonal best time of 24.59 against No. 3 Emory in Atlanta over the weekend. The junior also logged seasonal best times several other races which included the the 100 freestyle (53.67) and the 100 butterfly (58.17)....
