Jashad Kersey Earns NEC Rookie of the Week Honors with Impressive Long Jump and Triple Jump Performances

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – FDU's Jashad Kersey and Nilaja Wiltshire had a very successful weekend at the Bison Open and Mutli, earning themselves each NEC weekly honors. Freshman Jashad Kersey was named NEC Rookie of the Week for the first time in his young collegiate career. Kersey competed in the Men's Long Jump and Men's Triple Jump, placing 12th and third respectively. His long jump mark of 6.53 is a personal best and sits him at eighth in NEC rankings.
