BATON ROUGE, Louisiana - Mississippi Valley State University's men's basketball face tough 78-54 loss to Southern University at the F.G. Clark Activity Center on Monday night. In the first half, the Delta Devils found themselves trailing the Jaguars 18-2 with 14:35 remaining in the 1st half. Led by Arecko Gipson who had 11 points, four rebounds and one block, MVSU made a comeback bringing the lead within single digits with 9:18 remaining.
