Colby-Sawyer Lose to Lasell in Key GNAC Matchup: Cullum Leads Scoring with 14 Points

Colby-Sawyer lost to Lasell by a final score of 90-80 in a key Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) matchup. The Chargers fell to 1-8 outside of New London and are currently 8th in the standings. Junior Chaz Cullum led the Charger scoring with 14 points (7-9 FG), five assists, five boards and four steals. Junior Bullen Taban notched another double-double with 13 points (4-9 FG, 1-1 3PT, 4-9 FT), 12 rebounds and a block. Junior Jaisan Parker tallied 12 points (5-5 FG, 1-1 3PT, 1-1 FT), while junior Mike Joanou added 12 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3PT) and one rebound. The Chargers turned the ball over 21 times compared to just 11 from the Lasers. The Chargers currently sit in the 8th seed in the GNAC Playoff bracket tied with Regis with five games remaining on the schedule. The Chargers will head back home on Saturday to take on Anna Maria at 3:00 PM.
