Fisher College Tops Thomas Terriers 99-78 in Second Half Showdown

The Terriers 2nd half comeback fell short late in the second half, resulting in a 99-78 loss against Fisher College. Yasmo Mohamud and Parker Desjardins attempted to give the Terriers offense a boost with points in the paint, but the Falcons continued to respond. The Terriers cut the Falcons' lead to single digits with 10 minutes remaining in the first half and reduced it to just 5 points late in the first half. The Terriers took a 49-48 lead after a 14-5 run in the first 3 minutes of the second half. Fisher answered to keep the game close, but Desjardins and Gianni Ungaro hit back-to-back three-pointers to keep the Terriers up 55-52 with 15 minutes left to play. The Falcons shut down the Terriers offense and answered back with a run of their own, taking a 77-69 lead with just under 7 minutes to play. Parker Desjardins finished with 27 points, 7 rebounds, an assist, and 2 steals, Troy Tinch added 12 points and 5 boards, and Gianni Ungaro finished with 11 points and 2 blocks. 11 Terriers scored in tonight's contest.
