Spartan Throws Team Triumphs at Recent Track and Field Events

Story Links EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Spartan throws team will be the lone MSU Track and Field competitors this weekend, taking on at the Meyo Invite in South Bend, Ind. on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 2-3. At Notre Dame's Loftus Sports Center the Spartan men and women will compete in the shot put on Friday and weight throw Saturday. After taking last weekend's meets off from competition, the Spartan sprints, jumps, and distance squad will take their turn at rest ahead of a triple meet weekend next weekend.
