Jesuit to face Rummel with chance to take slim lead in Catholic League
Jesuit will seek a chance to take a half-game lead on Edna Karr in the District 9-5A race when the Blue Jays play at 7 p.m. Friday at Rummel. Karr, tied with Jesuit atop the district standings at 6-2, will face Country Day in a nondistrict game Friday. The Cougars will resume district play Tuesday at Brother Martin. Tied for third are Brother Martin and St. Augustine, each one game off the district lead with 5-3 records. Jesuit, a 48-40 winner against Brother Martin on Tuesday, defeated Rummel 47-32 when the teams met in the first round of district games.…
