Redbirds Complete day 1 of the Meyo Invitational
Story Links SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Illinois State track & field just completed day 1 of the Meyo Invitational with three student-athletes running and the rest to compete tomorrow at the Meyo Invitational and the Keck Select. Meyo Invitational Senior Emilia Ness took third in the women’s 60m qualifying hurdles with a new personal-best of 8.78 and 2 milliseconds from her previous best of 8.80. Freshman Cambria Geyer took 11th in the women’s 60m qualifying hurdles with 8.98. The last runner for the Redbirds was Sophomore Garrett Slack where he took 18th in the men’s 600m dash with 1:32.80.
