The North Central University Men's and Women's Track and Field teams split up between the Gopher Classic hosted by the University of Minnesota and the Ted Nelson Classic at Minnesota State Mankato, with numerous personal bests and school records broken. At the Ted Nelson Classic, throwers Micayla Jones and Grace King performed well, with Jones breaking her previous school record in the weight throw and hitting a season best in the shot put, while King earned a personal best in the weight throw. At the Gopher Classic, Serena Lanes excelled in the 60 meter dash, 200 meter, and 400 meter for the women's team, while Nehemiah Juaire and Isaac Weiers achieved personal bests in the men's 60 meter dash and 400 meter. The distance squad also saw record-breaking performances from Garrett Converse, Matthew Holstad, Jessica Redman, and David Bjorge. The team will compete at the Gene Glader Classic hosted by Bethel University on February 17th.
