Caleb Williams is the consensus no. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft but Jayden Daniels should be in stronger contention for the number two pick with Drake Maye. The 2023 Heisman Trophy winner came out of nowhere in 2023 and brought the LSU Tigers back into the national spotlight whereas Maye and the North Carolina Tar Heels failed to live up to the hype and expectations. This is why Daniels may be a better pro and why it would be a mistake for NFL teams to Pass on Jayden Daniels.
