Seward’s Accomplishments Earn CIAA Weekly Honors

Story Links CHARLOTTE, NC – Fayetteville State Senior M’Smrya Seward has been recognized by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) coaches and media relations as the CIAA and FoodLion Field Athlete of the Week. Seward, a sports management major from Youngsville, NC, won the women’s long jump at the USC invite in SC. She won the overall long jump competition with a jump of 6.11. This mark placed her first in the conference, first in the Division II Atlantic Region, and 4th on the NCAA Division II National Qualifying list.
