Shields Valley’s Kyle Jerke Commits to Rocky Mountain College as Defensive End: A Rising Star in Montana Football

BILLINGS — Shields Valley's Kyle Jerke has committed to play football at Rocky Mountain College, per Rebels coach Jacob Fisher and Rocky's signing class announced by the school Wednesday. Jerke, a 6-foot-3 tight end and defensive end in high school, recorded 215 career tackles and 5.5 sacks for the 6-Man program, per Fisher. Shields Valley twice made the 6-Man playoff semifinals in Jerke's career, during his freshman and sophomore seasons in 2020 and 2021. Jerke is listed as a defensive end in Rocky's list of class of 2024 commits and is one of 20 in-state recruits for the Battlin' Bears.
