SUNY Potsdam Women’s Hockey Team Narrowly Loses 2-1 to Second-ranked Plattsburgh State, Highlights by Magalie Parent’s 30 Saves and Megan Teachout’s 12th Goal

Feb. 10 (Sat) / 3 p.m. at Plattsburgh History PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam women's hockey team (9-12, 5-10 SUNYAC) held second-ranked Plattsburgh State (19-2-1, 14-1) scoreless for two and a half periods before bowing 2-1 on Friday evening. Sophomore goalie Magalie Parent (Trois-Rivières, Quebec/Les Diablos – Cégep de Trois-Rivières) produced another stellar performance with 30 saves. Graduate student forward Megan Teachout (Auburn, N.Y./Oswego State) scored her 12th goal of the season. The defenses played a big factor in the first period.
