Top 10 Louisiana HS baseball players in Class of 2024
6. Grayden Harris, LHP, Central
Harris is the lone left-handed pitcher on this list and continues to emerge as one of the top arms in the Bayou State. With a fastball in the high 80s and a solid changeup and slider, Harris has been giving opposing batters fits as one of the leaders of the Central High School pitching staff for the majority of his high school career. Last season, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound southpaw went 8-2 with a 1.38 ERA and an impressive 106 strikeouts across 76 innings of work. After a strong summer and fall, those numbers could be even better in Harris’ senior year before he heads off to play college baseball at Southern Mississippi.
