Concordia Falls 1-5 to Gustavus: Sauvageau Breaks 12-Period Drought
MOORHEAD, Minn. (2/09/14)---The bad news was that Concordia gave up a pair of goals in each of the second and third periods and lost to defending national champion Gustavus. The good news was that the Cobbers went back-and-forth with the third-ranked Gusties for the first 39 minutes of play and ended their scoreless streak. Concordia trailed 1-0 to Gustavus after the first period but then gave up two goals in the second and third frames and lost 5-1.
