The Holy Cross track and field teams split squads to compete at the Rhode Island Invitational and the David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Junior Helene Cummings had a personal best in the 400m, finishing second. Freshmen Annaliese Rhoden and Grace Malcarney also achieved personal bests in the 400m. Junior Molly O'Connor set a season best in the 60m. Freshman Annabel Murray claimed fourth place in the 800m, and Junior Caroline Gage placed fifth in the mile. The 4x400 relay team finished second. In the men's events, Junior Brian Fennelly placed sixth in the 60m hurdles final, and Sophomore Jack Noble achieved a personal best in the mile. The 4x400 relay team finished fifth. The teams will next compete at the Indoor Patriot League Championship in Boston, Mass., from Feb. 24-25.
