Nebraska Wesleyan Women’s Basketball Loses 70-53 to Coe Despite Senior Day Efforts

Feb. 14 (Wed) / 5:30 p.m. Central College History LINCOLN, NEB. (February 10, 2024) - The Nebraska Wesleyan women's basketball team suffered a 70-53 loss to Coe on Saturday afternoon. The loss drops Nebraska Wesleyan to 0-19 on the season. Nebraska Wesleyan honored five seniors before the game, Brianna Denton, Grace Hogeland, Anna Vandenack, Ellie Bream, and Avery Halliday. HOW IT HAPPENED Coe raced out to an 11-2 lead in the first quarter, before Nebraska Wesleyan responded with a 6-1 run to cut the lead to four.
