University of West Alabama Track and Field Teams Shine at Samford Bulldog Open with Yakubu Balikis Leading the Way

On the women's side, Yakubu Balikis led the Tigers in the 60- and 200-meter events. In the preliminary round of the 60 meter dash, the graduate student missed the final cut by 0.05 seconds with a 10th place sprint of 7.69 seconds.
