Binghamton’s Junior Wins Men’s 50 Free at America East Swimming & Diving Championships

LEXINGTON, Va. – Junior Elijah Lanfear won the men's 50 free, highlighting Binghamton's performance at the second day of the America East Swimming & Diving Championships on Thursday at the VMI. With two days remaining in the competition, the Bearcat men are in first place out of six squads while the women are fifth out of seven teams. Lanfear's time of 19.68 broke the previous America East record of 19.85, which was set by Ilia Rattsev of UMBC back in 2019. It also broke his own school record of 19.93 which he set last year.
