Waterville, Maine: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced today that SUNY Cobleskill senior center Markel Jenkins, Elmira, N.Y., Elmira High School/Corning Community College, has been named the league's NAC Men's Basketball Defensive-of-the-Week for the week ending February 11, 2024. The Elmira N.Y. native anchored the team's defensive efforts during the week as the Fighting Tiger earned their second consecutive NAC play-off bid during the week averaging 7.0 defensive rebounds, 1.3 steals and 0.3 blocked shots per game as Cobleskill improved to 15-10 overall including a 10-4 record versus conference opponents.
