University of Scranton Women’s Swimming & Diving Team Breaks Program Record in 800 Free Relay at Landmark Conference Championships
BALTIMORE, Md. – The University of Scranton women's swimming & diving team broke a program record in the 800 free relay to highlight the efforts for the Royals on Day One of the Landmark Conference Championships on Thursday evening at Mangione Aquatic Center in Baltimore. The quartet of senior Marina Nunziato (Cranford, N.J./Cranford), freshman Kim Gingrass (Baldwin, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy), senior Alyssa Benzija (Kinnelon, N.J./Kinnelon) and junior Aviah Dahlgren (Honesdale, Pa./Wyoming Seminary) finished second with a time of 7:49.82, surpassing the previous program record of 7:50.56 that had been set on Feb. 20, 2022.
