William Paterson Women’s Swimming and Diving Team Recap at NJAC Championships
WAYNE, N.J. – The William Paterson women's swimming and diving team finished ninth out of ten teams, tallying 74 points on the opening day of the NJAC championships on Feb. 15. TOP PERFORMERS: In the 800-free relay, the WP quartet of graduate student Rose Vail (Phoenix, Md./Dulaney), senior Melody Espin (Colonia, N.J./Colonia), senior Nicole Kahwaty (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Morris County Tech) and freshman Sarah Filipowicz (Hewitt, N.J./West Milford) placed ninth, clocking a time of 10:18.62.
