COLUMBIA, S.C – Allen University outscored Benedict 10-3 in overtime to take a 71-64 victory in a SIAC women's basketball contest on Saturday at Allen's John Hurst Adams Gymnasium. A three-point play by Ghylissa Knowles gave Benedict a 61-59 lead with 2:01 left in regulation. Allen tied the game and forced overtime with a jumper with 21 seconds left.
