Cal State LA Baseball Dominates in Series Sweep Against La Sierra with a 7-2 Victory
LOS ANGELES -- Cal State LA's baseball team completed a series sweep on Sunday with a well-played 7-2 win over La Sierra at Reeder Field. The Golden Eagles (6-4) won their fifth straight game with another impressive defensive showing. In fact, neither team committed an error as La Sierra (2-4) also played well defensively. The Golden Eagles trailed 1-0 in the fourth inning before taking the lead for good with a five-run rally that was highlighted by a two-run home run by Kai Penuelas.
