Carroll Men Deliver Fifth-Place Finish At Titan Challenge

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The Carroll University men’s track and field team placed fifth in Saturday’s seven-team Titan Challenge at Kolf Sports Center (hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh). It was the Pioneers’ final competition before next weekend’s College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Indoor Championships. Jimmy Hinkley, a graduate student from Grayslake, Ill., claimed an individual title for the second consecutive week by winning the weight throw with a distance of 17.63 meters (57-10 1/4).
