Grove City College Women’s Track and Field Team Excels at Mount Union Tune-Up Ahead of Presidents’ Athletic Conference Championships

ALLIANCE, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's track and field team made its final preparations for the upcoming Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships by competing in the unscored Mount Union Tune-Up, held Saturday. Junior Grace Smith (Dover, Ohio/Dover) helped lead the Wolverines at Saturday's meet by winning the mile in a time of 5 minutes, 19.80 seconds. Two field athletes recorded runner-up finishes for Grove City. Junior Danika Sudar (Monaca, Pa./Central Valley) captured second in the weight throw with a school-record toss of 45 feet, 1 inch.
