Gustavus College Dominates MIAC Swimming Championships with Record-Breaking Performances
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Macalester College men’s swimming & diving team closed out the MIAC Swimming & Diving Championships on a winning note Saturday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center. The Scots finished fifth in the team standings with 423 points. The highlight of the final day was junior Charles Batsaikhan (Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia/East Chapel Hill) winning the 200-yard breaststroke with a school-record time of 2:04.18. He took down his old school record of 2:07.10, set last year.
