GVSU Women’s Golf in 14th Place at Spartan Sun Coast Invitational in Florida

SARASOTA, FL. – The GVSU women's golf team began their spring season this morning down in Florida at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational. In a field in which they are the only non-Division I school, the Lakers held their own, sitting in 14th after the first two rounds. Results Ohio State leads the event at three over, with a round of 291. Charleston is in second at eight over, followed by North Carolina at +9 in third.
