No. 1 Ranked DeSoto Dominates Royse City in Girls 6A State Basketball Playoffs with 62-28 Win

DALLAS - No. 1 state-ranked DeSoto moved on to the third round of the girls Class 6A state basketball playoffs with a 62-28 area playoff win over Royse City on Friday. DeSoto, now 25-5 for the season, advances to play 22-14 Cedar Hill at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ellis Davis Field House in Dallas. Royse City, which won district and bi-district championships, finished the season at 30-5. The Lady Bulldogs beat Rowlett 49-10 at the bi-district round. Kamora Pruitt led the victors with 22 points and Amayah Garcia added 16.
