California Field Hockey Team Shines in Academic Excellence with Scholar Athletes

MANAHAWKIN, NJ – Two members of the California field hockey team are among the 260 student-athletes who earned recognition as 2023 NHFCA Scholars of Distinction, as announced by the NFHCA on Tuesday. The Golden Bears receiving honors were freshman Isabelle Panikowski and Holly Pears. The Scholars of Distinction Program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2023-24 academic year.
