Millikin Junior JT Welch Shines in Basketball & Senior DeMarcus Bond Earns RESPECT Award

Millikin junior JT Welch (Bloomington, Ill. / Central Catholic) was named to second team all-conference honors, announced by the conference Monday. Welch led the Big Blue in scoring during the 2023-24 season, averaging 13.8 points per game shooting 38.1% from the field and 36% from three-point range.He tallied 48 rebounds during College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin play, along with 17 steals and 33 assists.
