NFHCA 2023 Division III Scholars of Distinction Include Outstanding Field Hockey Athletes

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. – Olivia Lorah, Laurel Gingrich, Lillian Tuffy and Jessica Butz were named National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) 2023 Division III Scholars of Distinction as announced by the association on Monday morning. Gingrich has been named a scholar of distinction three times while Lorah has been named a scholar of distinction twice. For Butz and Tuffy, today marks they first time they have received the honor. The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2022-23 academic year.
