Wyoming State Wrestling and Nordic Championships Set the Stage for Winter Sports Showdown

Jack Nowlin It’s the beginning of the end for the winter sports season this weekend with wrestling and Nordic skiing both holding their state-culminating events. The state wrestling championships run Thursday through Saturday at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper and the state Nordic championships are Friday and Saturday at the Casper Mountain Trails Center. State wrestling begins at noon Thursday with first-round matches for both boys in classes 4A, 3A and 2A and girls. The championship matches are scheduled to begin at 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
