York College Men’s Basketball Guard Aidony Nivar Dominates the Court with Record Seventh CUNYAC Rookie of the Week Award

FLUSHING, NY --- (www.YORKATHLETICS.com) York College men's basketball guard Aidony Nivar was recognized Monday with the Rookie of the Week award as the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) released its weekly awards for games played February 12-18. With this laurel, Nivar claimed a record seventh CUNYAC Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week selection in 13 weeks. Competing hard last week for the Cardinals, Nivar averaged 21.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game in two close encounters.
