Annie Tate Shines in Women’s Basketball: Named CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week for the Second Time

Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton College senior Annie Tate has been named the CCIW's Student-Athlete of the Week in women's basketball. The selection marks the second time this season and the fourth time in her career that Tate has received the conference's weekly award. She also earned the honor on February 22, 2021; November 22, 2021; and January 15, 2024. Tate averaged 32.5 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per contest in Wheaton's two games last week as the Thunder hosted matchups against Carthage and North Park.
