Howard University Women’s Track & Field Team Takes Lead at MEAC Indoor Championships
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (February 19, 2024) – Howard University women's track & field team moved into first place after Day Two of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Indoor Championships. Overall, the Bison hold a slim lead over Norfolk State with one day remaining. On the day, three Bison earned gold medals. Junior Jasmyn Hunter (Flossmoor, Ill.) finished first with 3,190 points in pentathlon, followed by teammate graduate Minyarn Smalls (Cary, N.C.) with 3,164 points.
