U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Excels at 2024 NJAC Championship Meet with 14 NCAA cuts, 5 Academy Records, and 17 Podium Finishes

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (Feb. 18, 2024) – The #25 U.S. Merchant Marine Academy men’s swimming & diving team finished in second place at the 2024 NJAC Championship Meet held at the University of Maryland this past weekend. The Mariners achieved an impressive 14 NCAA Cuts (eight ‘B’ Cuts in swimming action and six NCAA qualifying scores in diving). Additionally, five academy records were set throughout the weekend and and the Mariners reached the podiums with top-three finishes in 17 events.
