Utah Valley Dominates 2024 WAC Track & Field Championships with Multiple Records Broken

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Utah Valley’s Morgan Nokes raced to the 5,000-meter WAC Championship on Monday at the 2024 WAC Track & Field Indoor Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Nokes’ win makes it four straight 5k indoor titles and seven of the past eight for the Wolverine women. UVU scored 23 team points in the women’s 5,000. Nokes won with a time of 16:53.53 while Ari Trimble took third, Abby Linford was fifth, and Kelsi Lindley was right behind her in sixth.
