Cortland Women’s Basketball Set to Battle Geneseo in SUNYAC Semifinals for Shot at NCAA Tournament

The Cortland women's basketball team will face Geneseo in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournament semifinals on Friday, Feb. 23, at 7:30 p.m. at SUNY New Paltz. Cortland (18-7, 14-4 SUNYAC) is the second seed in the six-team tournament and earned a bye into the semifinal round. Geneseo (18-8, 12-6 SUNYAC) is the third seed and defeated sixth-seeded Oneonta, 64-52, in the quarterfinals Tuesday.
