Postseason basketball has arrived with girls basketball around the state kicking off regional play Tuesday. It was the end of the line for a number of schools but one team that kept its season alive was Eau Claire North. North — the No. 15 seed in Sectional 1 of the Division 1 tournament — hosted No. 18 D.C. Everest with a shot at No. 2 Hudson on the line. The Huskies encountered some speed bumps early, but pulled away in the second half for a 61-41 victory. It’s North’s first postseason win since the 2020-21 season.
