Mateo Anderson Clinches Title with Stellar Dive at 2024 CCIW Swimming & Diving Championships

Kenosha, Wis. -- The 2024 CCIW Swimming & Diving Championships began this evening with the diving competitions, and three Wheaton student-athletes took part in the conference events. Mateo Anderson became the second Thunder diver in as many years to earn top spot in the men's 3-meter diving field, while Zander Guzy secured a podium finish in both of his events on Wednesday. The sophomore Anderson placed first in the seven-man 3-meter dive with a score of 326.05 to go one better than his runner-up finish at last year's championships and earn the conference crown.
