Nebraska-Kearney to Face Concordia-St. Paul in Spring Scrimmage Showdown
Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney football team will scrimmage the Concordia-St. Paul (Minn.) Golden Bears on Saturday, April 13, in Council Bluffs, Ia. The event, held at Lewis Central High School, will be free and open to the public. The scrimmage will begin at 3 p.m. with the format determined closer to game-day. In the spring of 2021, Division II schools were allowed spring scrimmages as a "COVID exception". The Lopers faced Wayne State that spring with legislation passing in January 2023 allowing these exhibitions to take place every year as part of spring ball (15 practices over 30 days)....
