Saint Michael’s College Field Hockey Player Earns NFHCA Scholar of Distinction Honor

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College field hockey sophomore Kathleen Dean (Auburn, Maine/Saint Dominic Academy) recently qualified for National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholar of Distinction status, landing among 121 NCAA Division II players who earned a nod, including 33 from the Northeast-10 Conference. She claimed the honor for the second straight year. Dean, who also landed on the NFHCA National Academic Squad, was a Scholar of Distinction due to registering a minimum cumulative 3.90 grade-point average through the first semester of the 2023-24 school year.
