ECU Women’s Swimming Earns 61 Points in AAC Championships with Strong Performances

DALLAS, Texas – The East Carolina women's swimming and diving team completed day one of the 2024 American Athletic Conference Championships earning 61 points and currently six in sixth place. The four-day event, which will run from Feb. 22 through Feb. 25, will be hosted by SMU at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center and Barr McMillion Natatorium. In the 1-meter dive, sophomore Frida Zungia Guzman placed fifth with a score of 259.15 earning 14 points, while freshman Jecza Lopez finished eighth (246.50) for 11 points in the A-final.
