William Smith Field Hockey Team Achieves Academic Excellence with 12th Consecutive NFHCA Academic Team Award

The William Smith field hockey team was named a 2023 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Team. This year the NFHCA honored 61 Division III teams that earned a team grade point average higher than 3.5. This is the 12th consecutive season the Herons have earned this distinction.
