Bears Shine at SUNYAC Championships with Strong Performances in A and B Finals

BUFFALO, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam swimming and diving teams had another strong day at the State University of New York Athletic Conference Championships on Friday. Two Bears reached the A Finals and four earned spots in the B Finals. Junior Ryan Orcutt (East Greenbush, N.Y./Columbia) finished eighth in the 200 Freestyle preliminaries with a time of 1:45.36 to reach the A Finals. He was over a second faster in the finals, finishing fifth in 1:44.08. He was just 0.23 seconds shy of his own school record.
