Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Men’s Swimming Shines at Day Two of Liberty League Championships

ITHACA, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's swimming team continued their strong effort in the Liberty League Championships on Thursday, as the Engineers sit third out of eight teams in the field. Leading the way was senior Mike Dowd, who swam a strong 200 Yard Freestyle in a time of 1:39.41 to take the top spot in the field. The time was good enough to set school, association, and Liberty Liberty Championship records in the event. The time also was an NCAA B Cut time.
